I invite every prospective wedding couple to a consultation where you can try up to six different flavours and we can discuss your cake design ideas in more detail.
Online: Order a box of cake samples to eat at home and take the pressure out of trying them in front of the person who baked them! Schedule a follow-up Zoom consultation to discuss your design ideas and flavour choices.
In person: If you are local or fancy a visit to beautiful West Sussex, I also offer a limited number of in-person consultations each month at my home in Billingshurst where I am based, where I can combine both the tasting and design consultation in one meeting.

Tiered cakes give you the opportunity to serve multiple flavours so there can be something to suit your guests’ different tastes.
Ingredients & Finish
All my cakes are made with the best quality ingredients. I work mainly in fondant but also offer buttercream covered cakes. I can advise you as to which is more suitable depending on the style and design of cake you would like.
I will happily cater for special dietary requirements if I can. Lots of my couples opt for separate tiers or treats for guests with specific dietary needs and I am very happy to accommodate this. Please ask for my vegan and gluten-free flavour options. (NOTE that I am not a dedicated nut-free, dairy-free or wheat-free kitchen)
Ganaches, buttercreams, salted caramel and fruit preserves are used as fillings.
Cake can be served however you wish at your wedding – cut with great ceremony, as a centrepiece to an afternoon tea or as dessert served with fresh berries and cream. Portion sizes depend on how you want to serve the cake – and if you want any leftovers! Some couples like to keep and freeze a tier for a future event.
The number of portions your cake will provide is dependent upon the proportions of each tier and the shape and design of your cake. As a general guide, I recommend two tier cakes for up to 60 guests, three tiers for 60-100, four tiers for 100-150, five, six tiers or more for large weddings. A precise portion guide and cutting information is provided with each of my wedding cakes.
If you like the look of a tall, multi-tiered cake, but don’t need to feed as many guests, ask me about ‘dummy’ tiers. I can also supply large plainly covered ‘cutting’ cakes if you are catering for large numbers, but don’t want a huge cake on display.
Did you know I also make wedding favours on request? I can create personalised iced biscuits or macarons in bespoke flavours to perfectly compliment the design of your wedding cake for your guests can take away with them.
